About the role…

We are seeking a talented Business Development Alliance Manager to drive new business opportunities for MRN from both new and existing customers. In this role, you will be instrumental in maximizing win rates, service uptake, revenue generation, and customer retention.

As a Business Development Alliance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Effectively managing key accounts and cultivating relationships within target organizations.
  • Identifying opportunities within existing client accounts for upselling or cross-selling of the full MRN service offering. 
  • Generating sales leads, nurturing and closing new opportunities.
  • Proactively reaching out to potential clients through cold calling, networking events, and other outreach methods to establish new business relationships.
  • Collaborating with the commercial teams to develop compelling proposals and budgets, tailored to the needs of prospective and current clients.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for meeting both individual and team targets.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications…

This position plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding the client base, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Success in this role requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and a results-oriented mindset.

  • Degree level education in life science or equivalent by experience.
  • Prior sales success gained within the clinical trials arena (exposure to community based, or patient centric trials would be a particular advantage)
  • The ability to drive new sales opportunities and develop successful and long-term strategic relationships
  • Formal sales training and familiarisation with Salesforce would be advantageous.

Where: This role will be based in the US (remote and hybrid working options are available).
Contract Type: This is a permanent, full time position
