About the role…

The Corporate Finance Analyst will assist on all financial Mergers & Acquisitions transactions, contributing to the due diligence and integration phase of the acquired businesses into MRN. The role will support with funding & investor rounds, and IPO listing preparation and activities. This position will play a key role in the day-to-day management and preparation of M&A transactions including being responsible for delivery of presentations, valuation analysis and taking responsibility for preparation of information and communications.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Generating and running complex scenarios in the long-term model to help provide key, strategic decision making and opportunity performance and awareness
  • Conducting valuation work including financial modelling such as Discounted Cashflow (DCF) and Leverage Buyout (LBO) analysis
  • Create models that show value being created through acquisitions.
  • Assist with due diligence
  • Support the team in business development activities including identification and targeting of potential opportunities
  • Aid the team in the preparation of marketing pitchbooks or investor packs and related materials.
  • Develop and support the team with building the framework in preparation of a potential IPO listing in 3-5 years
  • Any adhoc projects aligned with the Corporate Finance function

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications…

It is Essential you have the following:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) with significant experience of working within a corporate finance environment
  • Experience in M&A transactions, preference on sell-side and buy-side transactions
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a range of time-critical projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A commercial mindset and an enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytic skills
  • High energy levels combined with strong drive and commitment to deliver high quality output.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with particular emphasis on influencing across the business and at all levels.
  • High level of discretion, tact, and diplomacy
  • Delivering insight and financial complexity to non-financial colleagues including Board level.
  • Experience of IPO listing in UK and/or US markets is an advantage

Where: Milton Keynes (Hybrid – minimum 2 days in the office)
