Director of Visit Delivery

The Director of Visit Delivery will assist with the integration of Visit Management (VM) Groups by supporting integration across all operational groups, supporting the EDVM with any efficiency and/or performance measures and line management and supporting the EDVM with resource management across VM Groups.

Role Objective:

This role will assist with the integration of Visit Management (VM) Groups by:

  • Supporting integration across all operational groups
  • Support the EDVM with any efficiency and / or performance measures
  • Line management and leadership across VM Groups
  • Support the EDVM with resource management across VM Groups

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to the EDVM to ensure that the VM Group within MRN operates profitably and efficiently
  • Support the work of the VM Group within geography relevant to location
  • Work with EDVM, Snr ED, VP, COO and all Operational Groups to ensure integration
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives within VM Groups and across Operational Groups from time to time
  • Identify and manage cross divisional risk
  • Ensure VM Groups actively engage employees
  • Represent the company externally to all stakeholders as required
  • Support the development of, and compliance with, the MRN QMS
  • Ensure any Employee Relation issues are handled appropriately in collaboration with People team, EDVM, Snr ED, VP, COO & CEO
  • Support IT development and systems development in the implementation of technology to improve quality and efficiency
  • Ensure quality is maintained across VM Group
  • Support audit/inspection preparation and conduct in collaboration with Quality Group
  • Ensure prompt and appropriate escalation of issues to Operational Management Group (OMG) and Executive Management Team (EMT) groups

Corporate Activities:

  • Supporting integration of all Operating Groups
  • Supporting MRN networking globally
  • Supporting Sales in customer interactions and relationships globally
  • Supporting Vendor relationships globally

Infrastructural Meetings:

  • Operational Management Group (OMG)
  • Others as defined in corporate meeting structure working document

Direct Reports:

  • Project Support Associate Managers (PSA Managers) UK/US
  • Senior Project Support Associates (Senior PSAs) (as required)
  • Project Support Associates (PSA’s) or equivalent roles (as required)

Experience:

  • Previous extensive experience in a multidiscipline experience within Pharma/CRO research and development
  • Previous proven line management experience, including performance management, coaching and mentoring
  • Experience of resource management
  • Prior experience of supporting audits or inspections is desirable
  • Science degree or other equivalent qualification or experience.
