As a Non-Clinical Country Lead you will schedule and manage the visits conducted by MRN’s Internal Nurse Network (INN) team of nurses and work closely with internal project management teams to facilitate execution of Home Trial Support (HTS) studies.

This is fast paced role that focusses on daily deliverables and MRN need someone who can think strategically but also has strong attention to detail to provide a quality service for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with MRN INN Team, the Nursing Lead, MRN recruitment and HR and staffing agencies to assist in building a network of nurses, with wide ranging skills, spanning all nursing specialties, in accordance with forecasted requirements
  • Ensure the assignment of the most appropriate nurse to each referred patient per the nurse identification strategy.
  • Set up and maintain files and review regularly with Internal Nurse Network Team
  • Coordinate nurses throughout the process of obtaining study team nurse approvals and training
  • Coordinate delivery and collection of nurse supplies and equipment by liaison with nurses
  • Coordinate nurse day to day activities – ensuring visit scheduling, post visit confirmations and visit data are received by all relevant parties in a timely manner
  • Ensure nurse compliance with MRN processes
  • Track, report and escalate issues to appropriate team members
  • Receive and track all site completed forms from Project Management teams, and forward on to relevant nurse
  • Serve as the “non-clinical” point of contact for nurses and relevant MRN teams.
  • Manage nurse travel proposals for patient visits.
  • Review and approve nurse timesheets or invoices from agencies.
  • Assign appropriate cover where primary nurses are unavailable for their visits and coordinate
  • Liaise with Vendor Services Project Manager and HR department to assist in ongoing process development

Skills Requirement:

  • Previous experience in an office and/or healthcare environment
  • IT skills – good understanding of and ability to use Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Intermediate level of excel would be advantageous.
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
