About the role…

As the Pricing Manager, you will build and maintain MRN’s budget templates. This includes incorporating new services, working with stakeholders to incorporate updates appropriately and ensuring all are trained on the tool, and providing overall support to the business regarding commercial pricing and budgeting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Rebuilding of templates:
    • Meeting with stakeholders to identify changes and improvements
    • Identifying streamlining in the tools
    • Ensuring the framework allows for easy evolution and additions
  • Creation, capturing and applying changes of client-specific discount and rebate schemes
  • Capturing and applying changes to existing budget assumptions, including data gathering / analysis and cross-functional meetings
  • Capturing and applying new customer initiatives – changes to project assumptions, data gathering, meeting with the Research and Development team and other stakeholder functions
  • Updating internal/exchange rates as supplied by the Finance team
  • Providing training to stakeholders for each major release, plus ongoing regular training for new hires in key operational roles
  • Supporting the Proposals team with budgeting advice and assistance as needed for client bid/budget building
  • Participation and contribution to commercial development meetings as appropriate.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications…

We are looking for a talented individual with high commercial acumen and excellent communication and influencing capabilities.

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A degree in legal, life science, pharmacy, nursing or relevant discipline, or equivalent by experience
  • Previous responsibility for maintaining budget templates within a CRO or clinical services provider
  • Prior experience of creating budget templates from scratch and knowledge of multiple budget templates from within a clinical research environment
  • Prior sales and or proposal experience would be a significant advantage
  • An understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Clinical Trial Methodology (CTM)
