Founded in 2006, MRN is an innovative clinical trials support organization and market leader in conducting clinical trials focused on the international community. Since inception, we have delivered novel solutions using our specialized expertise and creative approaches. We support drug developers, healthcare organizations and researchers to accelerate the drug development process.
Prior to 2020, MRN was growing at a rate that made us one of the fastest growing healthcare companies in the UK. MRN had been designed with innovation, process development and recruitment/training systems in place to manage high growth rates.
When the pandemic hit, we saw a collapse of clinical trials across the industry and an urgent need for many of them to move to a decentralized model. With the processes, systems and staff in place to manage significant growth, MRN stepped up and launched.
To deliver on our mission, we hired, trained and deployed more staff in 2020 than we had employed 3 years earlier. Despite all the challenges COVID-19 continues to cause, we are successfully completing over 1,500 trial home visits per month. This is thanks to our systems, processes and, most importantly, the dedication and hard work of our passionate employees and partners who believe in the decentralized clinical trial (DCT) model as the future of clinical research.
We continue to grow to offer more patients the opportunity to access new IEPs and participate in clinical trials, so that studies can recruit and retain more patients in the allotted time, laying the groundwork for the future.
