About the role…
We are now looking for a talented Clinical Country Lead to join our team. As the Clinical Country Lead, you will ensure the successful completion of clinical trial visits in the community, always ensuring adherence to MRN training and study specific protocol training. To ensure excellent standards of patient care and a smooth transition from the hospital to the home in accordance with the study protocol, clinical practice regulations and ICH-GCP requirements.
Responsibilities include:
The completion of community based clinical trials across multiple studies and a range of therapeutic areas by:
- To schedule and book patient visits as required.
- Maintaining standards of professional competence and current nursing practices in accordance with the German standards and regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines.
- Completing clinical procedures in line with the protocol and study requirements.
- Ensuring all relevant information regarding patients is recorded, reported and, where necessary, acted upon to communicate any changes to the Investigator/ hospital study Team, MRN and other team members as appropriate.
- Communicating and collaborating with the Visit Delivery Manager to ensure optimum management of home visit workload.
- Maintaining supplies, ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order and available for all scheduled home visits.
- Supporting the Visit Delivery Manager to build a nationwide team of qualified, skilled and appropriately trained nurses to successfully deliver all visits for MRN Home Trial Support (HTS) and Site Nurse Support (SNS) projects across the INN countries supported by the German team.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications…
- Registered Nurse with extensive post qualification experience of working within a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Experience of successfully managing nursing teams, ensuring standards of professional competence and an excellent level of patient care
- Prior experience of working within a clinical research setting would be beneficial, as would ICH-GCP knowledge
- High level of competence in relation to clinical procedures (including, but not limited to the processing of biological samples, study drug preparation/administration, ECG recording, vital signs recording).
- Proficient user of MS Office, including MS Outlook, Word and Excel – MS Projects would be an advantage but is not essential.
