About the role…

We are now looking for a talented Director, Proposals & Pricing to join our talented global team. As the Director, Proposals & Pricing, you will ensure the successful implementation of the functional strategy, and continually drive to increase the conversion rate from proposal to signed contract, and ultimately revenue and market share for MRN.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Successfully leading the global Proposal and Pricing team, ensuring functional objectives are achieved and the team continues to develop, learn and perform.
  • Further developing the overarching standards by which all proposals, budgets, requests for information, and changes in scope, are prepared and adhered to.
  • Ensuring all deliverables are created to the highest standards in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Contributing with client budget negotiation, including group negotiation and direct client communication.
  • Ensuring an effective and rapid handover to operational teams for delivery to commence.
  • Ensuring all activities are monitored, insights are reported, and continuous improvement opportunities are identified and actioned.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications…

We are seeking a talented and experienced individual with exceptional communication and leadership skills, along with the following:

  • Degree level qualification, or equivalent by experience
  • Significant experience in creating compelling and insightful proposals for CRO or Pharmaceutical clients, which resulted in enhanced commercial performance.
  • Budget tool experience and extensive understanding of clinical trial cost drivers
  • Experience of successfully managing and developing proposal teams.
  • Matrix management of internal teams, across geographical and cultural boundaries
  • Experience of successfully managing and developing CRO-sponsor relationships
  • Direct management of client accounts in a CRO
  • Competent user of MS Office software, advanced level MS Excel

Where: This role will be located in the UK and hybrid/remote working options are available
Contract Type: This is a permanent, full time position
